ISO 9001:2026 was officially published on 16 September 2026, so the current edition is now ISO 9001:2026, not ISO 9001:2016. ISO 9001:2015 and its 2024 climate amendment have been withdrawn/replaced.

The new revised SA8000:2026 Standard was developed by Social Accountability International (SAI) at the end of March 2025. The final version is expected by the end of 2025, with transition requirements set to begin in January 2026.
